The goal is to introduce Finland to a new way of waste management which promotes sustainable development. Noticia AB has developed an information system for efficient collecting of waste and reduction of CO2-emissions. Axel Group Logistic Systems Oy has been supplying rugged & mobile PC and PDA solutions for demanding work environments since 2003. The cooperation enables Axel Group to offer waste management solutions that both support sustainable development and improve the logistics of waste and recycling companies. The agreement contains both the Noticia Recycling Information System for measuring fill levels in containers and the camera system for cleaner official places. With the cooperation Noticia and Axel Group create a basis for ecologically improved waste management in Finland and contribute to enhancing environmental responsibility. 2009-06-16 Nordic cooperation Reknes AS and Noticia AB Noticia AB in Sweden and Reknes AS in Norway have made an agreement where Reknes AS will distribute the Noticia systems in Norway. Noticia is an innovation company in the Cleantech business that has developed an information system for efficient collecting of waste and reduction of CO2-emissions. Reknes AS is a supplier of IT services to the Norwegian waste business, i.e. an electronic declaration for hazardous waste. With the cooperation Reknes will be able to offer a tool for communities and waste and recycling companies to actively contribute to a better climate. The agreement contains both the Noticia Recycling Information System for measuring filling level in containers and the camera for cleaner official places. The Noticia system can be linked to the existing Reknes system already in use. The agreement was signed at the Waste conference 2009 held in Bergen in June. “From the interest at the connecting exhibition we understand that the waste business in Norway is interested in new technique to improve our climate” says Karl-Inge Reknes managing director at Reknes AS.
